However, there are a couple of stores that still sell this item. Most of these stores are found in the western half of America.
The states where you might find the Beyond Sausage being sold include Kansas, Colorado, Caledonia, Nebraska, New Mexico, and Utah.
The Law Case Behind The Beyond Sausage
When researching Dunkin’ Beyond Sausage, it became apparent that the company’s Beyond Sausage Sandwich and its advertisements were a factor for the sandwich being pulled. It wasn’t only due to low sales.
Vegadelphia is suing Dunkin’ for using the phrase “Where Great Taste is Plant-Based,” which is part of their trademark. The phrase “Great Taste, Plant-Based” was used by Dunkin’.
Vegadelphia asserts in the lawsuit that other elements of Dunkin’s marketing campaign, such as the font style and accompanying graphics, also closely resembled their own.
At the time of writing, the lawsuit is still ongoing. Therefore, depending on the result, Dunkin’ Donuts could pull the rest of the Beyond Sausage items from the last stores.
